As an ERP Systems Manager, will translate business requirements into technical specifications for conversions, reporting, interfaces, and customizations.  Will define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.  Will consider an ERP super user looking to move to the IT department.  Excellent time-management, planning, and interpersonal skills will also be essential for success. Responsible for research, documentation, and working with the ERP system to resolve any issues that may occur in the applications.  Higher Education industry experience is required.

  • Provide end-to-end project management throughout the lifecycle of a project by directing the efforts of project team(s) using dotted-line authority to deliver a completed product and/or service.
  • Provides guidance and explains concepts to others in work area. May mentor others in department. Coordinates across multiple departments. Promote active listening and open communication. Provide leadership and guidance to others.
  • Solves unique problems through evaluative judgment and precedent. Independently applies sophisticated analysis in evaluating issues and develops new concepts, methods and techniques for cross-functional initiatives. Recognizes and pursues alternative methods.
  • Train new users and mentor existing users.
  • Assist user in defining and creating reports; troubleshoot user problems guided by department goals and objectives. Exercises latitude in determining objectives and approaches to projects. Leads multiple projects of small to medium size and technical breadth.
  • Research and monitor advances in information systems management and provide recommendations for Banner information system usage and improvements. Act as project liaison between IT partners, client organizations and IT leadership
  • Coordinate and/or implement interfaces to external systems and software.



  • 5+ years working in/with/around an Information Technology department
  • 2+ years of experience working with Banner modules either as a technical programming expert or as a super user with knowledge of at least one of the following Banner modules:
    • Finance
    • Human Resources/Payroll
    • Student
    • Financial Aid
  • SQL
  • Oracle
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
