Overview

Support and maintenance of Ellucian Banner ERP system.  Hybrid role - Must currently live in or near the Houston, TX, area.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring, cycling, and troubleshooting of ERP system/applications based on requirements.
  • Manage, maintain, and create ad-hoc queries and reports.
  • Develop automation processes where necessary.
  • Create new/maintain existing system integrations.
  • Support ERP upgrades and patching.
  • Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
  • Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures, objects (such as tables, indexes, triggers) and functions using PL/SQL.
  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Banner experience, including operation, administration, and/or software development.
  • PL/SQL technical skills and strong analytical analysis.
  • Banner Workflow, Blackboard / Banner interfacing.
  • DegreeWorks preferred.
  • eVisions preferred.
  • Slate preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Full understanding of SDLC.
  • Smart sheets / ServiceNow for project tracking.
  • System Integration (eg. Snaplogic, Boomi, or Mulesoft).
  • Complex systems and procedures automation.
  • SME in several professional disciplines. Requires ability to create processes and procedures.
  • Thought leader.
  • Customer-facing experience, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in IT project management, time management, and problem-solving.
  • Eligible to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship at any time.
  • Hybrid position - must currently reside in or near the Houston, TX, area.
